Description
11/12/24 – This is a minty example of a Colt Model 1911A1 manufactured in 1945. It has the proper “United States Property” marking and the proper US military cross-canon cartouche. This one, however, has British proofs throughout, indicating it was part of the WW2 British Lend-Lease Program. Colt barrel with a “Square C” marking. It has retained about 97% of its parkerized finish with just hints of high edge wear and a few very light surface marks here and there. Fitted with period-correct grips and comes with a proper “R” marked magazine. Mint bore.
