The lower and upper receiver are precision machined from 7075-T6 with a black hardcoat anodized finish. The lower has a spot face cut to the takedown area allowing for easier removal of the rear pin. The USR (Upper Standard Receiver) receiver features a raised pad behind the front lug to facilitate a tighter receiver fit. The barrel extension bore is smaller in diameter than the mil specification so that barrel fit is much tighter.
