Say hello to the FX Dreamline Dream-Tact Bottle — a modular, highly customizable PCP air rifle based on the Dreamline Lite but with double the air capacity and Mil-spec AR-accessory compatibility.
FX Airguns continues to push the boundaries of what airguns can do. In few places is this more evident than the Swedish manufacturer’s Dreamline collection. Airgunners all over the world have fallen in love with their modular design concept, which affords shooters the ability to configure — and reconfigure — their guns into anything from a classic, wood-stocked sporter to a bullpup to a lightweight tactical, AR-like form factor.
With its AR-reminiscent profile and modularity, the Dreamline Lite (AKA Dream-Lite) quickly became a favorite pellet-slinger for fans of the venerable firearm platform. FX quickly caught on and has been developing more Dream-Lite variations, like the Dream-Tact Bottle, which ships with either a 500cc aluminum air bottle or a 480cc carbon-fiber upgrade. And, like the standard Dream-Tact, it also sports an upgraded full Picatinny optics rail, plus one in front of the trigger guard for mounting bipods and other accessories.
“The very concept of the Dreamline reminds many shooters of the AR15 world — one where shooters can configure and change their rifle in countless variations,” FX states. “So why not have an air rifle that not only has the same options but can actually use AR hardware? The Dream-Tact does just that!”
The Dream-Tact ships from the factory without a stock — a feature FX says lends to the customizability of the gun, allowing shooters to select their own aftermarket stocks according to personal preference. However, Pyramyd AIR customers will receive the Dream-Tact as a kit, including a UTG PRO AR15 Ops Ready S1 Mil-spec stock kit.
The FX Dream-Tact is available in .177, .22, .25 and .30 caliber models. FX reports velocities of 940 fps (.177), 910 fps (.22) and 890 fps in .25. The maximum velocity for the .30-cal model has yet to be determined, according to the manufacturer. Maximum reported muzzle energies are 18 fpe (.177), 32 fpe (.22), 47 fpe (.25) and 75 fpe (.30).
