12/9/24 – For sale is a Colt Model 1911 that was rearsenaled for WW2. The pistol has a parkerized finish applied during the rebuilt and retains roughly 80% of its finish. The slide and frame have edge wear throughout. The front of the grip is worn from use. The wood grips are in clean condition but somewhat worn. The main spring housing was replaced with an A1 style. The safety is a replacement. The bore is fairly bright but dirty in the grooves. It can likely clean up better. The barrel is marked HP.
