12/9/24 – For sale is a Colt Model 1911 made in 1918. This handgun is well worn and well used. Most of the finish has worn away. The frame and slide both have spotting of patina and old surface oxidation. There are no signs of active pitting or corrosion. The wood grips are in good condition and free of cracks or breaks but some of the screws look to be replacements. The barrel is marked HP. The bore is fairly bright but the rifling is worn and there’s shallow pitting visible near the chamber.
