Description
11/11/24 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. All matching with the proper “Waffen 135” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with one jvd magazine, a scarce late-war “U” marked magazine, and a 1942-dated and waffen-proofed Browning High Power holster (fits the gun pretty well). The gun’s original finish rates about 93%. The majority of the finish loss is thinning on the front strap, so the profile views are excellent. Fitted with black plastic grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
