What do beer, genies and 22 LR ammo share in common? That’s right – they all come in bottles! But beware: Once you’ve popped the lid off Magtech’s 500-round jar of 22 range loads, you won’t want to stop firing until you’ve run out!
Magtech didn’t reinvent the wheel when they produced this ammo. Each cartridge is loaded with a lead round nose projectile. Its lack of copper plating means it will deposit lead fouling on the bore at the usual rate, but zero copper means a less expensive bullet. The 40 grain LRN’s 1,150 fps muzzle velocity out of a 24” barrel will provide an accurate enough trajectory to pull off all those trick shots you’re so famous for. And while the LRN isn’t designed for terminal expansion, many a squirrel couldn’t tell the difference before it dropped clean off its branch.
This 22 LR is produced in Brazil by one of the world’s largest military ammunition producers. We don’t know of any militaries that use the 22 LR in combat, but that didn’t stop Magtech from loading this ammo with dependable brass cases and noncorrosive rimfire primers.
