Description
10/17/24 – This is an original 1943 K98 bayonet with matching scabbard. This bayonet is in overall excellent condition. The blade has very little wear other than typical scabbard wear on the tip. The rest of the blade has a strong finish and a unsharpened edge. The blade is marked with “43 fze” and the serial number, “9657k.” The hand guard has great finish with minimal wear, a very nice brown handle, and nice pommel with some patina throughout. The scabbard is in great shape with light patina throughout. Dated, maker marked, and serialized matching the bayonet.
