8/20/19 – This is an original leather strap for a K98 rifle manufactured early¬WWII. The strap is maker¬stamped and dated¬1939 on the rear of the keeper stud, however, the maker code is visible but un-readable. The leather is soft and completely in tact with some age cracks, but it is strong and usable. Smooth surface¬on the exterior.¬The stitching is all original as well without issues. Guaranteed original.¬
