4/5/23 – This is a nice example of a Colt Lightning Model 1877 Revolver, manufactured in 1902. All matching. Chambered in .38 Caliber. 6″ barrel. It has retained about 90% of its finish. While there isn’t a lot of actual finish loss, there is heavy brown patina and light spotty oxidation throughout. Fitted with slightly worn hard rubber Colt grips. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with minor pitting throughout. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
