Description
10/24/24 – This is an original French MAS 49/56 bayonet with scabbard. This bayonet is in great condition with some mild wear. The blade has typical scabbard wear with a couple chips along the edge. The hand guard is marked MAS 71. The scabbard is marked MAS 69 The white stuff on the handle is just remanence of a label. The locking mechanism works well. The scabbard is in good+ condition with some patina throughout. The green leather on the scabbard is in excellent shape. The blade and scabbard have a tight secure fit.
