Description
3/26/24 – This is a nice example of a Colt Single Action Army from 1896. Chambered in .38 Colt with a 4.75 inch barrel. It is all matching and fitted with period-correct hard rubber grips. It has lost most of its original finish with spotty oxidation throughout. The majority of the remaining finish is on the grip straps. A small portion of the original case-hardening is visible in the corners of the frame. The bore is excellent – mostly shiny with strong rifling and just a couple of small spots of light surface oxidation. Fully functional with a smooth action.
