6/15/23 – This is a very nice example of a Long Branch No 4 Mk 1 issued to the British military in 1942. It is all matching (including the wood stock) and has the proper British proofs throughout. No import marks. There is almost no actual finish loss, but there is an obvious area of either pitting or casting flaw on the left side of the receiver. Excellent wood furniture with only minor scratches and bruises here and there. Comes with a mint 1944-dated canvas sling. The bore has great rifling, but there is very light pin-pricking throughout.
